Job Opportunities in Yukon, Canada offers Salaries ranging from 80,000 Php to 300,000 Php




Silvestre Bello III, the Labor Secretary, had ordered the responsible government agency in speeding up their process in finalizing the requirements for deployment of Filipino citizens in Canada.

Bello had announced after arriving an agreement with the leaders of Yukon, Canada regarding the deployment of 2,000 skilled workers in the Philippines every year.

According to the labor secretary who had recently flown to Canada this month, the joint communiqué contains the need for 2,000 skilled Filipinos to work in Yukon, Canada every year.

Based on the observation of Bello, the Filipinos in Canada were prosperous and happy. They were well-taken-cared of.





It is estimated that the salary which will be offered to OFWs in Yukon, Canada will be ranging from 80,000 Php to 300,000 Php. The jobs which will be available to Filipinos are heavy equipment operators, nurse, cook, chef, engineer, caregiver, call center agents, and other local job opportunities.

Aside from the job opportunity, these skilled OFW workers will be given the chance to live in Canada with their families.

According to Bello, Canadians loves to work with Filipinos because of their quality work practices and perseverance. They also admire the Filipinos’ love for their family that is why they encourage OFWs to bring with them in the country their family.

Interested applicants are required to be fluent in the English language, possess an appropriate job degree and skills, physically fit, and mentally healthy.





After signing the agreement, Bello delegated the responsibility of speeding up the processing of the requirements for the deployment of OFWs in Yukon, Canada to Bernard Olalia, the administrator of the Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). He also directed Olalia to process the Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) for the OFWs who will be deployed to Vancouver and Toronto.

Based on the labor secretary’s statement, the officials of Yukon, Canada plans to sign a bilateral agreement to formalize the deployment of OFWs in their city. He plans to invite these officials to the Philippines in finalizing the bilateral agreement.
